Three months to the date after the season two premiere, The Late Nite With Ed Moore III Season Two Finale Special was filled with an air of thanks, gratitude, remembrance, reflection, love and celebration for the season's thirteen week long run. For what Ed called the toughest grouping of shows in the history of Late Nite With Ed Moore III, season two delivered an exponential opportunity of growth for the late night radio talk show. With almost double the amount the guests that appeared on the series from season one, season two brought about record breaking numbers in covering some of the biggest and most controversial stories of 2012. A total of fourteen people, including previous guests from season two, arrived at WLJS Studios to participate in the season's final curtain call. Along with the season's previous guests, Ed invited listeners of the Late Nite With Ed Moore III show to deliver their perspective about the show and the impact it had on them as listeners. At the end of the show, Ed expressed to the listening audience the biggest lessons he had learned from hosting the show for a second season, as he offered a statement of thanks to all the guests of the show and its listeners from across the United States and around the world.
"After 26 shows, 52 hours of taping and almost 80 guests since our first night from season one, I never in a million years dreamed it would get this big. All I wanted was a good radio show that anybody could listen to... " - Ed Moore III
"I was very nervous about being on the show at first, because so many hypothetical questions kept popping up, so I was more observant of the people around me. The hazing show was real. It presents the questions of how far do you have to go to join a fraternity and it has people equipped with awareness about the issue..." - Ryan Mobley, Foreign Relations & Political/Human Rights Consultant for Late Nite With Ed Moore III
"The second time I appeared this season was because of the Trayvon Martin Case. I came onto this show hurt more than anything to think our justice system would even try to pull such a thing off. I felt a lot of passion behind this topic and I feel we did a good job covering the case. I would like to thank Ed Moore III for the opportunity to voice my opinion on such important topics and for just giving me the pleasure and honor to be on the radio. I wish you many more seasons of success in the future..." - Jelisa Raquel, Guest From "Hazing In America" and "The Trayvon Martin Case"
"As the host of the WLJS People's Choice winner for the first two years of its existence, I wish to congratulate Late Nite With Ed Moore III on its win this year. You present yourself and your material in a professional and informative manner. You are on college radio and you reach people who might otherwise not be interested in big market media..." - James C. Burton, Executive Host Of WLJS' The Orphanage
"Always remember you're a good investment and you have the drive and knowledge to do anything. Never let anyone take that from you because what you have is precious and you have a lot to offer the world..." - Minnie Marbury, Birmingham, Alabama
"When I sat down and put on the headset, my heart was pounding because I did not want to mess up his show. But as Ed began to speak about the topics and then to me, things became relaxed. I felt comfortable with each question and before I knew it, the broadcast was finished. I had such an amazing time on the show that time flew by. I will never forget being on Late Nite With Ed Moore III..." - Nur Chernnet, Guest From Show #014, "Men Of Radio"
